James Cox is the lead home inspector of Tabor Hill & Associates LLC. James is a Certified Master Inspector (CMI), meaning that he is among the best and most experienced home inspectors in the industry and has agreed to abide by the strictest Code of Ethics during his inspections. In addition to being a home inspector, James served as a member of the Southlake, TX Department of Public Safety as a Firefighter and Paramedic for six years.

This experience helped shape him into an inspector who looks out for the safety of his clients.

At Tabor Hill & Associates, we strongly believe that “Experience is Everything.” There is no substitute for experience when it comes to inspecting homes, and James has been doing this work for over 18 years. He began his career as a home inspector in Texas in 2001, working under strict TREC (Texas Real Estate Commission) standards.

He owned an inspection company until moving his family to Jacksonville in 2011, when he took a break from the inspection industry to attend bible college. After living here for a couple of years, he found his way back to a career as a home inspector through friend and fellow inspector, Tabor Hill.

Today, he is excited to get to use his years of experience to help home buyers, sellers, and owners make the wisest decisions possible for themselves and their properties.
